Campus office is characterized by dense access, complex environments, and diversified services, which imposes higher requirements on network bandwidth, delay, and jitter. To meet these requirements, building a high-quality campus office network is the key to providing users with satisfactory office experience. At present, there are a large number of enterprise-level WLAN devices in the market, but there is no unified performance evaluation system to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of the devices. Although some enterprises or organizations have designed some test cases, such as Tolly certification, such certifications lack standardized foundation and scenario-based design. Therefore, we urgently need to design a set of unified and complete performance evaluation standards based on application experience for testing.

This working group is responsible for defining, specifying and extending the performance indicators of campus basic network performance evaluation parameters, such as bandwidth, access terminal connection capability, coverage, and delay, are used to evaluate network performance when network users use the network. The WG will continue to define the test and evaluation methods for different performance indexes. The scope of this WG can be divided by industry scenario, including healthcare, education, and industry. In addition, independent WGs can be set up for different industry scenarios.
